CT4 Tooth Profile — Pinnacle of the High-End Series
Evertec CT-4000
Featuring the CT4 tooth profile, the Evertec CT-4000 carbide bandsaw blade cuts hard-to-machine materials (titanium, Inconel, nickel alloys) as well as non-ferrous metals like aluminum. A wider tooth set provides greater clearance for smoother blade operation, and a proprietary 4% chromium alloy backing material makes this blade the pinnacle of the high-end series.
Applications

Aluminum Expert — High-Speed Carbide Saw
Evertec CT-ALU XS
A high-speed carbide blade purpose-built for non-ferrous cutting. The innovative multi-facet tooth design reduces friction for free cutting, while a premium carbide grade delivers exceptional blade life.

FAQ
Carbide Questions
When should I switch from bi-metal to carbide?
If M42 or M51 blades are failing quickly on titanium, Inconel, nickel alloys or other hard-to-machine materials, carbide is the recommended upgrade. We suggest an application review before switching — incorrect TPI, speed or feed settings can cause carbide blade failure.
Which carbide blade is right for aluminum?
The CT-ALU XS and CT-ALU XL are purpose-built for aluminum and non-ferrous cutting. The CT-4000 also handles non-ferrous metals alongside hard-to-machine materials.
How hard a material can carbide blades cut?
Evertec carbide blades cut materials up to ≤ 65 HRC — well beyond the range of bi-metal blades, covering hardened steels, titanium, Inconel and nickel alloys.
Do you supply carbide blades in custom welded lengths?
Yes. All carbide bandsaw blades are available in custom welded lengths. Send us your blade length, width, thickness and TPI and we'll produce the blade to your specification.
